Angela Byrne - General Manager
My background is within the hospitality industry having studied at Queen’s College, Glasgow (now Caledonian Univ) for a Degree in Hotel and Institutional Management. After working my way to a General Management within a 3 star hotel, I decided to retrain and following a further 2 years studying at Post Graduate level in teaching I spent 6 years teaching Edexcel Btec Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management prior to taking the position of GM of Rendezvous Executive Lounges at Airbase Flight Support. |
My new role involves setting up Rendezvous’ flagship lounge at the IOM airport but the aim is to have a Rendezvous Lounge in all airports where Airbase Flight Support has a station. Hopefully over the next 3 months the brand ‘Rendezvous Executive Lounges’ will become synonymous with the high level of customer service that has become a trade mark of Airbase Flight Support.
Due to my background in hospitality it is my personal belief that the standards of customer service are important and it is with this directive that my job is to ensure that we meet the needs of all our guests. I am incredibly lucky to have a highly experienced team of staff working with me and also with the backing of my CEO – Brett Turner – I am confident that this flagship lounge will be replicated in the UK very soon.
It is my aim to ensure that I am on hand to support the team and also to speak to and get to know our guests and I can be contacted by email or phone at any time – please see the contact page for details.
